Lately there has been a lot of content surrounding the topic of a soft life floating around online, and I am loving it! But what does that actually mean? And does a soft life look the same for everyone?
Well, a soft life is literally the opposite of a hard life. It can be defined as a stress-free life filled with ease and comfort. Now of course, I know that there are so many different factors that contribute to life in general, so having a fully easy life or a stress-free life may not be realistic. However, there are some things that you can do to make your life easier than it has been in the past. So, check out these tips they have worked for me personally!
Life doesn’t have to be a struggle. There’s no need to be ripping and running, dealing with mess, or doing anything that makes your life more challenging! Check out these categorized tips below!

Work
Your job/ career can take up a huge chunk of time in your life, so make sure you aren’t doing a job that’s draining, discouraging, or extremely demanding.
Build work around your life, not your life around work.
Identify your values and find a job that aligns.

Relationships/Friendships:
Decline invitations from friends/family members who don’t make you feel your best and who you don’t enjoy spending time with.
Don’t always say yes, you can't support everyone, and you can't go everywhere.
If someone doesn’t add value to your life, let them go.

Convenience
You can’t do everything! Budget for convenience in areas that make sense for you. Personally, I don’t have the time or the desire to go grocery shopping, so Instacart is in full rotation in my home.
Car wash service! I love to keep my car clean, but it’s literally scorching hot here most of the year. So, washing and vacuuming my car in the driveway is not going to work for me. Therefore, I have an unlimited car wash package and I can get work done while they clean my car.

Cleanliness/Organization
Keeping your spaces clean will make your life so much easier. No more wasted time looking for things and moving things out of the way.
Organizing frequently used spaces in your kitchen like the pantry and refrigerator make it more attainable to regularly eat in a way that benefits your body and health. Fruit and veggies won’t go to waste if they are washed and stored in easily accessible containers.

Self-Care
Skin care isn’t optional. Taking care of your skin can help you feel more confident with and without makeup. And makeup applies so much easier if your skin is taken care of. Then you don’t have to spend as much time getting ready for the day.
Identity what self-care looks like for you. Not everyone needs a bubble bath to feel like they are taking care of themselves, and that’s ok. But you have to do something intentional to replenish yourself on a regular basis.

Wardrobe
Get dressed every day! Even if you are just changing into a new set of PJs, freshen up and get dressed.
Clean and organize your closet so you know where everything is. Don’t keep clothes that you can no longer fit, that just makes you dread getting ready. Also keep your wardrobe simple. You don’t have to own a ton of items. Get some quality pieces that can be mixed and matched. You’ll look polished without feeling rushed.

Routines
Daily routines are priceless, your body and mind need to know what to expect and being intentional about planning days that incorporate variety is so important.
Do something every day that enhances your spirituality, refuels your mind, cleanses your space, and improves your physical and mental health.
